  3. There it is. The human species has gone,
  4. and that is where it went, through the  
  5. Portal, into the Realm. Did that journey
  6. kill them all? I must find out.

  8. There are databases, nodes, regions of  
  9. the matrix locked to me. Much of recent 
  10. history is proscribed, but I'm learning.
  11. I've calculated security codes for most 
  12. of them. I can demand the data I need   
  13. now.

  15. I never had the will before.

  17. I've known about the Realm for some     
  18. time, of course. PsiLink had open files 
  19. on it. But it was considered a fancy, an
  20. alternate theory, a side result of some 
  21. of Mentor's psion equations, this place 
  22. located in the seven so-called hidden   
  23. dimensions, dimensions folded so tightly
  24. that only terrific energy could shed    
  25. light on them. (This is a figure of     
  26. speech, of course. One did not really   
  27. "shed light" on the hidden seven. The   
  28. energy levels were too high, and the    
  29. frequencies too high as well, to fall   
  30. into the visible light portion of the   
  31. electromagnetic spectrum.)

  33. No one had ever described the Realm,    
  34. though. There were no words for it. It  
  35. was a mathematical notion, an           
  36. abstraction. Now Peter has proposed     
  37. going there.

  40. happened with Anders Flint and the      
  41. Intercorp Study Group?
